The article argues about the demise of the liberal order’s effects on the power and diplomacy cyberspace as well which was evolved under the leadership of the U.S. So, the post liberal world is dealing with issue of power shifts, with rising powers of China and Russia are challenging the US hegemony in the economic realm but also militarily and diplomatically. The cyberspace was a creation of the liberal order and cyber diplomacy is eminently post-liberal. The authors mentioned that the cyber diplomacy as a post-liberal creation need acknowledgement becausecyberspace is a contested arena in which traditional diplomatic skills need to be employed in order to prevent conflict and generate stability. The authors mentioned that cyber diplomacy plays a central role in negotiating its distinct power balances, values and institutional changes. The authors conclude that the states are putting more efforts on bringing order instead of something more akin to managing chaos which is a great challenge for cyber diplomacy.
